In this role I’m lucky enough to lead a team of passionate creators in Australia and India. Our team are responsible for attracting the best talent to come and join us at CommBank. We do this through custodianship of our unique employer brand and the execution of targeted marketing campaigns. On any typical day – if that exists – I might meet with our marketing team about our brand refresh, review my teams' communications plans and content, run an advocacy ‘how-to’ for our leadership team and meet with our execs to discuss market trends. With a focus on data and insights, we're always looking for new ways to win hearts and drive action.

Prior to being promoted to the position of Senior Manager I managed the team on a smaller scale. During this time I delivered a similar program of work with key responsibilities including strategy development, scheduling and prioritisation, project management, campaign implementation and budget management. The heart of this role was marketing strategy development, content development and the implementation of large-scale communication and marketing campaigns. Juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders was key, meaning that planning and communication were essential. Great relationships with our agencies and suppliers meant that we were really able to make an impact in the recruitment market in the UK and Europe. Role responsibilities included:- Development and implementation of marketing and advertising plans- Internal communications and stakeholder management at all levels- Management of multiple projects simultaneously- Agency and supplier management and on-boarding- Copywriting - Development of online and print marketing collateral and advertising- Budget management for the global team- Large scale research projects. Accomplishments- Planned and executed channel and communication plan for the European Graduate Recruitment Market- Worked with key agencies to develop over 100 different pieces of collateral - online and print - during the graduate recruitment season - Assisted in the development of new global brand campaigns.

This role focused on attracting top talent to Deloitte in innovative ways. This meant that I spent a lot of my time online managing not only our traditional careers website and intranet, but also on developing our social media presence. This project was recognised by Deloitte globally as the best recruitment marketing initiative of 2011.
