I am a multi-lingual award-winning journalist, editorial leader and producer. I have extensive experience of investigations, crisis and frontline global conflict, broadcast and digital production, and of editing/commissioning award-winning multimedia content campaigns - from the fight against #fakenews, to immigration, housing and the global energy and climate crisis. As a Trustee I counsel NfP boards on goverance issues ranging from risk to crisis and stratcomms. Am skilled at senior stakeholder relations, data-driven storytelling, cross-platform delivery and global affairs. Passionate about promoting inclusion, emerging talent and impact across matrix environments in the UK and abroad. Have broken a number of original stories and fearless exclusives while leading specialist reporting teams across Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Central Asia, also on the Environment and on the Security Terrorism & Defence brief. The BBC’s first anti-disinformation initiative #BeyondFakeNews and the BBCBriefing digital factbook series are among my other credits. Recognised with multiple awards for my digital leadership and video journalism work, most recently winning an RTS as part of the BBC team’s coverage of the war in Ukraine.
