Although the company is relatively young, our forever-growing team is packed with experience. Myself having 15 years of experience working in the events industry. I've personally had first-hand experience with audio-visual & broadcasting, drone operations, commercial construction, customer service, electrical & mechanical engineering, health & safety, ICT solutions, telecommunications, roadworks, and more. All of which are fundamental to the logistics of a successful outdoor event. Our roadmap includes a mobile app, an in-house ticketing platform, equipment hire and more.

IX Liverpool (aka the Liverpool Internet Exchange) is a local internet exchange point located within the cultural city of Liverpool within the United Kingdom. They are a collaborative, co-operative and mutual organisation, founded as a not-for-profit company and funded by their members and voluntary contributions from the local community.Thanks to the time and sheer dedication from the community, they’ve had some good successes so far: they’ve built the worlds first internet exchange in a shipping container, they’ve launched a city-wide LoRaWAN (open and free internet of things network) around Liverpool and they’ve built the UK’s largest city-wide community computing project that helps scientists around the world solve the world’s biggest problems in health and sustainability; by simply recycling the regions old computers and putting them to better use.We believe becoming a member of IX Liverpool is vital to our future operations here at RefineGroup, we are excited to be a part of their journey to become a big player in the UK’s communications infrastructure.

Started in 2005 as RefineHost, a web services provider, the company has grown to other sectors working with Assets, Media, and Technology. RefineSystems provides Electrical & ICT solutions using a mixture of physical and virtual services. Working closely with their sister RefineWireless, professionals in microwave connectivity, together we draw up solutions to tackle modern-day technology requirements.

Working in the summer season with a stall team, traveling to various locations around the country. Also, working out of season promoting the company and preparing for the next year of events.My responsibilities included coordination and motivation of a 6-man festival team and administration of the company website.Duties included: • Handling emails and social networking messages• Update website & source volunteers• Control and presentation of stock• Building and dismantling of the stall• Photography printing service with digital SLR cameras, inkjet printers and heat presses• Preparing Point of Sale equipment, adequate lighting, sound systems• Build wholesale relationships

A large busy licensed-establishment with an annual turnover of £350,000 employing an average of twelve staff which was licensed to sell both food and alcoholic drinks. My responsibilities included the day to day management of the bar/kitchen and other duties as required to run a small business. Duties included: • Staff management including recruitment and selection, induction and training, organising shift rotas, performance management, and staff development.• Financial Management including administration of staff wages, tax returns (self-assessment and VAT), payment of bills, and keeping adequate records for accounting purposes.• Cash management including floating of tills, calculation of takings, reconciliation to till readings, banking, and ensuring adequate cash flow.• Purchasing and management of stock including negotiation with suppliers, product promotion, and stock control.• Management of kitchen and food service area.• Management of licensing and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements including health & safety and food hygiene regulations.• Dealing with incidents, resolving disputes, and customer complaints.• Liaising with local authorities, police services, and the local community to promote a collaborative approach to the management of the establishment.• Organising special events and fundraising activities supporting local charities and organisations.• Constantly striving to improve service and hygiene standards throughout the premises.• Maintain the alarm & CCTV system, audio-visual equipment, Internet/Wi-Fi networks and EPOS tills.
