As an Information Security manager, I apply my expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Data Protection and Governance to protect the data and privacy of our users. Academic background in Security and Technology, with a Master's degree in Science & Security from King's College London, where I researched the impact of emerging technologies on the security landscape. I hold a Bachelor's degree from McGill University, and several professional infosec certifications.Before joining TikTok, I was a Data Loss Prevention Manager at InComm Payments, where I managed and engineered the DLP program for the Data Protection and Governance organization. I also worked as a Principal Associate and Tech Lead at Capital One, where I was responsible for creating and enforcing security policies for various cyber engineering domains, such as CASB/SaaS, SASE, Network, and Email. I am passionate about advancing the field of Data Protection and Cyber Security, and I constantly seek to learn new skills and technologies. I have interests in Insider Threat and Risk, Governance & Privacy, SaaS Security, Cloud Migration, Data Lineage and Classification. Outside of work, my interests lie in small business entrepreneurship, DIY, and promoting financial literacy and education in my communities.
