I’m a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in robotics. I’m actively studying mechatronics, and embedded system design. My extracurriculars include EagleSat-2, EagleWorks: Advanced Vehicle Laboratory, and designed an autonomous tracking solar panel as part of my senior design project.In my undergraduate experience I’ve had three internships in the manufacturing, semiconductor and automotive industries. My first internship was at Futuristics Machine Inc., a commercial machine shop that produces precision fabrication solutions. I designed parts and assemblies using SolidWorks. I also drafted technical drawings for manufacturing using GD&T practices. Under supervision I setup and operated CNC mills and lathes. My second internship was at Nordson Asymtek where I was tasked to innovate a top product design. I brainstormed, designed, prototyped, and thoroughly tested my designs using Six Sigma methodologies. To accelerate testing of my designs I implemented a DOE to achieve a set of required parameters. At the end of the internship the design was ready to be implemented into a new version of the top product. My most recent internship was at Ford Motor Company as a hardware engineering intern. I achieved partial certification using the Siemens Xpedition PCB design software and innovated a breakout board to be used for CAN testing on assembly lines. Diving into my extracurriculars, for EagleSat I’ve designed several functional 4 layer PCBs which have housed multiple ICs. Ranging from 4 different type's of memory modules to 32-bit microcontrollers with a USB interfaces. in addition, I have also designed power electronics circuits to correctly supply voltage and current with circuit protection. For EagleWorks: AVL, I am the systems and controls project manager. I lead a team to interface electronics with large motors and motor controllers. I am currently working to develop a CAN bus system to interlink all vehicle peripherals. Learning and personal development is something I’m always striving for. I take any opportunity to learn a new skill or understand challenging concepts.
