Salix is a government-funded green finance organisation on a mission to help the UK public sector improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. They provide interest-free loans to enable the installation of energy efficient technologies, reducing energy use and tackling climate change.🟢 I managed the Schools and Academies team - overseeing a team of 10, and three multi-million pound budgets made up of hundreds of energy efficiency projects taking place in the public sector.🟢 Ensured my team was trained and managed effectively so that Salix had the skills and experience to expand its business, and the team members also met their personal development objectives.🟢 Ensured relationships with strategic partners and funders were built and maintained, including with the DfE and ESFA, and a pipeline of projects eligible for funding was constantly being developed.🟢 Played a key role in improving operational efficiency to enable the business to scale. For example, developing the idea and managing the implementation of DocuSign digital signatures, away from the previously inefficient manual signature process. 💰 In 2020 BEIS chose Salix to deliver £1bn of grant funding to the public sector. 🏆 In 2020 Salix came second in the Sunday Times Best 100 Not for Profit Organisations.⭐️ In 2019 Salix was awarded the Investors in People Gold accreditation.

Co-ordinated the Street Lighting team to meet a large multi-million pound budget, and deliver large scale LED street lighting conversions across numerous councils in the UK.

Promoted quickly to Programme Co-ordinator after identifying a number of ways to increase efficiency of the company, and build more pipeline using existing resources.

Managed the logistics of the weekly stock intake from suppliers into Topshop. Oversaw the distribution of stock from the warehouse to stores throughout the UK and worldwide.
