'Type 45' Unit Assembly - Design and verification of lifting and shoring structural and welding arrangements for blocks up to 300 tonne.Structural Feasibility Study - CVF construction unit breakdown; block lifts to 1000 tonne.

Varied vessel design projects ranging from 37m monohull coastal patrol boats to 56m unlimited navigation naval patrol boats, 55m luxury yachts, fast catamaran ferries from 56m to 105m and a 126m trimaran.All stages of design covered from marketing to contract stage, concept design to detailed structural design and naval architecture, drawing and inter-departmental resource coordination, production support and liaison and finally vessel commissioning and trials.

Design of aluminium components and small vessels. Responsible for motor and sailing yacht maintenance and repair co-ordination and planning.

Wind tunnel and towing tank model testing, self-propelled manoeuvring tests and drop tests. Data acquisition and analysis for full size ship motions and impact loads. Dynamometer and test equipment component design.

Work including creation of a bug testing specification for new versions of the ship manoeuvring simulator PC Rembrandt, modelling of ships for use in the program, and collision investigations.

Ship lengthening project and performance of computational seakeeping analysis. Safety system drawings on CAD and team member for an oil supply platform pre-incline survey.
