• Produced a 6-year longitudinal wage study of 300,000+ 2012 high school graduates in Texas using STATA, observing the impacts of race/ethnicity, economic disadvantage, and educational attainment on post-graduation median wages• Generated a new metric, called “3rd to 5th Grade Acceleration” – the number of students passed 5th Grade Reading who did not pass 3rd Grade Reading per year – by combining anonymized individual student-level data in Alteryx• Used Census Bureau ACS public use microdata to map Texas’ educational attainment and median income rankings for our CEO’s role on Texas’ Community College Finance reform committee, showing Texas’ bottom 3rd rank• Identified 4 key correlations of teacher turnover across Texas and over 400 school districts through regressions in R• Supported people management in the Analytics department by mentoring newer associates on skills such as creating Alteryx workflows and by leading our department’s weekly meetings

• Coordinated research to provide policy and strategy recommendations to the Education Reform Initiative team • Visualized key educational concepts and data from the initiative’s research using Tableau and Powerpoint

• Generated more than 110 applications over two years by visiting over 150 schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex • Increased admitted students from Texas from 15 in Spring 2018 to 50 in Spring 2020• Communicated admissions trends with higher-level administrators by synthesizing SAS data biweekly• Compiled 20 commonly used admissions standards of over 75 colleges in Dallas’ regional recruiter network, creating an easy-to-read spreadsheet for DFW’s high school counselors and increasing the network’s visibility in the area

I was elected to be the Senate President Pro-Tempore for Marshall University's Student Government Association on September 1, 2015. As President Pro-Tempore, I was the chief executive of the student government's legislative branch. My official duties included:-Creating meeting agendas each week -Collecting tax and budget information from student organizations to process for funding applications-Creating funding bills to be passed by the Student Senate -Reviewing and revising other legislation before it is brought to SenateAdditionally, I have served the university in other duties through this position. Many of those duties are listed below in the volunteering and organizations sections.

• Orchestrated 2 excursions in Chile, including developing two lesson plans and assessing the students afterwards• Assessed how the behavior of 15 students changed based on their schedules and their accommodations in 4 Chilean cities, proposing 3 recommendations to future study abroad trips based on this analysis

• Surveyed political opinions of over 1,000 people in West Virginia to encourage them to vote for the candidate • Input data from canvassing into the Democratic Party’s voter database, NGP Van, to generate profiles of likely voters• Operated 10 phone banks in support of Nick Rahall to increase voter turnout and voter enthusiasm for the election
