- Manage a team that provides IT helpdesk support, digital skills training and communications and marketing for the IT Services department at the University of Essex (80 IT staff, 15,000 customers).- Lead on a project to overhaul the IT working practices within the University.- Design and run events and workshops for the section, to promote what we do and brainstorm new ways of solving problems on a large scale.- Oversee the delivery of in-house and external IT training courses for all University staff.- Ensure excellent customer service delivery at the IT Helpdesk for staff, students and senior officials.- Manage a £120,000 annual budget.- Make strategic plans for development of my services and get buy-in from senior staff to support large-scale projects.- Network with others within and outside the University and use these relationships to better deliver the work of the team.
