In my current role, I work on building and improving scalable compensation operation processes. I support a large compensation team across different business units, and a significant global employee population. I contribute to defining and developing a newly formed compensation operations function, and collaborate with stakeholders to set objective, establish guidelines, and create or streamline processes. In my day to day, I leverage my expertise in Google Sheets, formulas, and Workday (HRIS/HCM) to create tools and handle various compensation-related tasks. I also manage our survey participation (Radford, Mercer, WTW).In response to specific business needs, I take on project management roles, overseeing and coordinating various initiatives to handle large, complex tasks (ex: compensation cycles, job classification changes, etc).

[Promotion In-Role]Sonos is the ultimate wireless home sound system: a whole-house WiFi network that fills your home with brilliant sound, room by room.At Sonos, I managed compensation programs (WFH stipends, spot bonuses), automated processes, and oversaw integrations. I supported our annual compensation review cycle by auditing and cleaning data, reconciling outputs, creating communications, creating compensation statements, testing advanced HRIS compensation modules/scenarios, creating training materials/resources, and answering any questions. Other highlights: prepared compensation surveys for 3rd party vendors using Workday reports and advanced Excel formulas, project managed the automation of manual stipend calculations, and reconciled quarterly grants (RSUs) for board approval. Additional responsibilities included ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and managing billing for multiple benefit, immigration, and mobility programs/vendors.

I played a key role at DoorDash during their job architecture restructuring, where I transformed legacy job profile and compensation data for over 9,000 employees. In addition, I completed ad-hoc reporting and conducted data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity. During the annual review process, I collaborated with HRBPs to clean up data, troubleshooted processes, and facilitated mass communications to keep everyone informed. I also conducted in-depth analysis on employee movement, geo differentials, and offer acceptance rates. To streamline operations, I developed self-service compensation tools for HRBPs, Finance, and Recruiting teams and served as the system administrator for team tools and vendor management.

[Transfer-Promotion effective Aug 2020, due to a company hiring freeze, I continued to concurrently manage HR Operations until Jan 2021]Hulu is a subscription streaming service that was acquired by The Walt Disney CompanyAfter transferring from HR Operations to Compensation, I streamlined the administration and benchmarking of job profiles and compensation ranges in collaboration with HRBPs. I audited and analyzed reports on headcount, salary, and job profile data. I ensured accurate data integrations between Workday, Callidus, and Salesforce for quarterly compensation earnings statements. During a time of company transition, I automated manual tasks. I also handled mass employee uploads and changes using EIBs. Additionally, I provided support during the annual review cycle and updated company-wide communication and training materials related to compensation.

In my first role at Hulu, I handled various projects to streamline processes and enhance the employee experience. My most notable project involved ideating and implementing an employee chatbot, which effectively addressed frequently asked questions. Additionally, I led the implementation of automated tools such as a company-wide ticketing system and dashboard module, along with a new HR toolkit. I also conducted survey analysis, helped with the onboarding of a virtual internship program (due to the pandemic), and collaborated with external vendors for employee wellness events and integrations.Outside of my projects, I effectively managed and resolved HR inquiries, building strong relationships with cross-functional partners. I also took the initiative to create self-service employee intranet resources, user guides, and instructional videos.Within our HRIS (Workday), I ensured data integrity by managing data changes for major occurrences and facilitated workflow alignment across different departments. I actively contributed to Workday upgrades, patches, and enhancements, while also creating comprehensive process documentation.
