What does that mean? Well, basically I help people to sleep at night because they know that the things they cannot afford to lose (their business, home, automobiles, life savings) are protected and if something bad was to happen there is an insurance company who will pick up the bill and many of the pieces. Being an independent agent just means that we are not held captive to one or two insurance companies; in fact, we are agents for many insurance companies. If you need coverage from a company we are not agents for, then we have the ability to broker you to that company. My goal is to do what is best for you. Through a consultative approach, I work with your business and/or your family to tailor a plan so you can transfer the risk of those things you do not want/or cannot take on yourself and pass those risks onto an insurance company.
