I grew up in the family business and learned good work ethic from a young age. I pursued a passion for hospitality and travel and spent nearly a decade in the industry. I started at the largest Marriott property taking calls and resolving guest issues (there are quite a few stories I could tell too). I moved back to Georgia and was the director of a small convention & visitors bureau / welcome center for several years. When there was an opportunity to transition back to the family business I took it. For 30+ years Douglas Machines has been designing and building automated solutions for a number of industries. We have invested in the right equipment to machine parts and products efficiently and with the highest quality. When I am not working I spent time with my wife & 3 kids, travel, work on projects at home, and dig through thrift stores for that unique find. I've been told I have too many business idea and not enough time to do all that I would like. I'd love to connect and see how we can do business together.
