BiographyAlex Pfleger is known for his work on Thicker Than Water (2006), Revenge Inc. (2007), Vein's Appetite (2019), and internationally award winning film: Volition (2019).He has appeared in over a dozen short films, three independent features, three small-screen roles, and a nationally recognized TV spot for Shaw Communications.He began his acting studies in the Theatre Workshop Program at John-Abbott College, in Montreal, QC. Then set his sights out West to study acting in front of the camera at the world renowned Vancouver Film School.You may have seen him acting alongside Joshua Sasse in No Tomorrow (2016), co-hosting Guess The Story (2017), or interacting with the likes of acting veterans Magda Apanowicz, John Cassini and Aleks Paunovic in Volition (2019).Select films that Alex has been featured in, have been recognized by: BEAC National Awards, YoungCuts Film Festival Awards, Palm Springs ShortFest, and the Philip K. Dick Sci-Fi Film Fest Award.Alex has a natural ability to speak several languages. He is fluent in English, French, German and speaks functional Spanish. His travels around the world from a very young age have assisted him in broadening his cultural and communication skills. Developing a unique and diverse range of characters to impersonate, in a variety of dialects, such as: Standard American, Boston, Southern, Texas, British, Cockney, French, and Quebecois.In 2016, he became interested in getting behind the lens. Taking up further studies in the Film Production Program at InFocus Film School, where he directed several of his own dramatic short films. He has collected an array of film industry crew credits over the years such as: Production Assistant, Grip, Assistant Director, Producer, Casting Director, and Video Editor.As of November 3rd, 2023, Alex has relocated to his home town of Montreal, QC.
