Key responsibilities include:* Raising the profile of ICAEW and Chartered Accountants in the region * Delivering an outcome focused member engagement programme which supports Chartered Accountants at the various different stages of their careers. * Consulting ICAEW members on key business issues to support the R&I team and policy makers, providing insight, knowledge and member opinion* Supporting local volunteer network boards to provide a full programme of local activities, including event delivery and budget management.Key deliverables have included: * An ongoing stakeholder engagement programme, which ensures ICAEW are represented at all levels across the business community in the Liverpool City Region and Chester & N Wales. I have an exceptional professional network both regionally and UK wide which ensures ICAEW have access to key decision makers and influencers at all times.* An ongoing member engagement programme on topics such as economic trading conditions, fiscal policy, AI, ED&I and Net Zero, contributing to ICAEW’s wider representations on public policy, comment and strategy.* Experience delivering specialist insight groups representing members in sectors such as financial services, e-commerce, tourism and hospitality and charities.* Business engagement and support around funding and access to finance with members and stakeholders. * Devised and delivered the LCR Innovation Investment Summit 2022 & 2023, which led to a £7m innovation launchpad for the LCR regional economy.* Sector lead for the NW on Innovation, Fintech and the Economy, providing specialist knowledge and insight to the wider team and members. * Managed local sponsorship channels, completing sourcing and onboarding partners through to delivery and conclusion.
