Later I joined Spanair as a First Officer on February 6th 1990 after a successful selection process, and was assigned to the MD80 Series Fleet. From this first assignment I progressed through the positions of B767 300ER FO, being released as a Company nominated Captain in February 1994 and successfully flown, since then, MD80 and A320 types.I had a full and rewarding career in Spanair; I hold training positions in the MD80 fleet as Type Rating Examiner (TRE) and Line Training Captain (LTC), and set the basis of Spanair’s Crew Resource Management Program. I also held managerial positions and, in 2001 was nominated Flight Crew Training Nominated Post Holder and developed what it was the first TRTO in Spain, being it's first Head of Training.In April 2010 I left Spanair to join Spring Airlines as an A320 Captain based in Shanghai, China. I have been flying for Spring Airlines until January 15th 2021.In March 2012 I begun working in (www.pilotmovers.com), the fastest growing Pilot contract agency in Asia by far, holding over 17% of the total China market in just it's first four years and expanding to Japan and soon Vietnam. I have been Spring Airlines Bangkok Captain until August 31st 2018.
