Accepted and currently working as part-time employee within the Lean Solutions department as I complete my last semester of school.Have worked on a variety of engineering and business related projects, including: - Development of a comprehensive RFP tool to rank and evaluate prospective business opportunities based on a list of customizable ranking criteria. Tool creates a simple interface for complex comparisons between existing and new business opportunities. - Weekly travel to Olive Branch, MS for six weeks to facilitate the transition to a new Warehouse Management System (Manhattan SCALE) within a 534,000 sq ft facility. While there, created work instructions and process flow diagrams for the varied processes taking place within the facility. Also analyzed inventory based on size and velocity of product to determine ideal storage locations. - Traveled to Lebanon, PA for five days with a small team to demonstrate GENCO's co-packing and warehousing capabilities for a multi-million dollar PepsiCo bid. Assisted in the setup (layout, personnel, logistics) of multiple lines of product which were presented to PepsiCo. GENCO won PepsiCo's business as a result of the multi-day demonstration. - Data analysis of years worth of orders, product information, and warehousing locations to identify trends and possible areas of improvement within multiple distribution centers across the country. - Site visits/tours of distribution centers and corporate headquarters including Nortek, Xerox, McGraw-Hill, and Inventionland.
