I am currently setting up new research into what the UK government can do to reduce imported emissions: those emissions produced outside the UK in the supply chains of products and services consumed in the UK. This will look at carbon border adjustment mechanisms, product standards and carbon emission disclosure rules.My passion is to find ways to de-carbonise the economy. At Climate Impact Partners I lead on work to track climate actions of Fortune Global 500 companies, and the development of the CarbonNeutral Protocol - a framework used by the likes of Logitech, Microsoft and Sky to measure their carbon emissions and compensate for them.Prior to that I worked at management consultancy On Purpose, and before that I worked at Ben & Jerry’s and the RSA, where I trained entrepreneurs to use crowdfunding to grow their sustainable start-ups.
