I worked to build a new team that established the foundation for a new event-driven Nordstrom Product Platform. Our initial focus was on API based ingestion and support for a domain-focused perspective notification engine, but we have since moved into full stack workflow development as we integrate with partners and business teams.Thus far we have integrated 2 external partners, NuOrder (http://www.nuorder.com/nordstrom ) and DSCO (http://disco.io ) We are focused on build-out of the first generation of internal business facing tools based on this new product platform, to manage buyer's selections and initiate product setup, enabling purchase orders and selling of new product via all Nordstrom channels/for all markets Nordstrom serves. Target go live is in April of 2020.

Expanding our scope into 2 onshore and 1 offshore team all working to support workflow across multiple business units, supporting 100s of internal corporate users working across the country to facilitate the end to end product setup, enrichment and publishing process across 2 fullfilment centers, multiple photo studios and Online merchandising teams in Seattle. Design, develop and maintain software including public and internal facing web applications, windows services, web services, SQL and ETL processes. For several years I led a team of developers writing web spidering scripts using a product called WebQL.

Led a team of developers building Project Guides public facing web applications, migrating an existing system based on Access and Word macros to an enterprise class system with a SQL Server back end and multiple application and web servers.

I was assitant DBA and sole developer for a web based application available on the Washington State WAN for DSHS workers across all divisions. We recieved data feeds from all areas of DSHS, processed and matches client data, and were then able to identify areas where clients were served by multiple divisions. I also was responsible for providing data to the Research and Data analysis office that was producing research for the state legislature.

Freelance web designer, producing web sites for various bands and record labels in the Olympia, Washington area. Included ecommerce and other dynamic web development using Perl CGI, as well as DHTML and Flash.
