Designed and created production middleware & automations to solve complex business logic related to geospatial, financial & numerical data derived from sensors pertinent to all models and types of vehicles and transportation infrastructure. Mitigated and contributed to resolution of entrenched flaws both in external and internal systems via systematic root cause analysis methodology, leveraging complex SQL and rapid (python) scripting that led to improved architectures that consume/expose APIs.Created various modular command-line automation tools that reduced error and improved delivery of custom-formatted data derived from fusing various APIs' response (eg. example salesforce, myadmin, mygeotab, google, powerbi, google maps APIs - for the latter, leveraged postgres server database connectivity using odbc. leveraging Javascript, C#, & python tooling among others to accomplish this.Implemented ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) pipelines to clean large-volume datasets. Created complex and reusable SQL queries w/ time series analysis and regex to allow easier diagnostic of a user-specified activity. Produced automated excel / google spreadsheets / PDFs reporting. Set up cloud server infrastructure (w/ Terraform, in GCP ) within Linux environments. Experienced and comfortable working with: Big-query SQL, pandas, pydantic, flask, javascript. familiar setting up IaC w/ Terraform targeting Azure, GCP and AWS clouds. Proposed detailed architectures to replace legacy monolith systems to instead use docker-deployed web-apps w/ Postgres + React frontend with flask APIs. Mentored junior colleagues on python development best practices using git utilizing a paired programming philosophy. Python-specific workflow: poetry, requests, asyncio, black, jupyter nb, airflow, rst-based auto-documentation sphynx. Enjoyed producing efficient and robust code that scaled well within a microservices architecture.
