Lead system-wide initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain business processes. Currently implementing several new technology solutions, including: - Contract Management System (2023)- Inventory Management System (2023-24)- Clinical Requisitioning System (2024)

• Oversee all procurements from inception to contract execution and indexing. Current portfolio includes over 700 active contracts with cumulative contract values between $400 – 600M. Develop and review all current procurement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of efficiency. Identify areas of improvement, stalled projects, and other opportunities to operate more efficiently.• Communicate and troubleshoot any issues with over 60 internal procurement specialists and over 1,000 external vendors. Conduct monthly meetings with our internal procurement specialists to provide updates on any process changes and to mitigate any current issues. Manage all procurement data and contract databases daily to ensure the accuracy of all data including cycle times and completion numbers. • Principal member for Cook County in the Procure-to‐Pay area for the implementation of the new financial system (Oracle EBS). Developed SOPs for current processes, proposed efficiency gains, and approved functional specifications for all Procure-to-Pay processes.• Lead onboarding and training for all procurements processes both internally and externally.

• Assisted in the development, branding, and launch of the countywide Set Targets, Achieve Results (STAR) Performance Management program in Cook County. The foundation of this program is to identify key performance indicators and metrics for each agency, set targets, and track progress. (https://performance.cookcountyil.gov)• Individually responsible for collecting and analyzing operational data for the largest Cook County Agencies including the Health & Hospital System, Sheriff’s Office, Forest Preserve, and Bureau of Human Resources among others.• Worked in tandem with several agencies to identify, document, and implement operational and process-driven improvements within their organizations. Implemented a tracking tool which helped increase HR grievance scheduling compliance (within 30 days of receipt) from 58% to 100%, and decision compliance (within 30 days of hearing) from 81% to 97%.

• Interviewed and worked with various management and line staff to document and streamline procedures and policies. • Developed Specifications, provide analysis, and served as a voting member on several high-profile capital projects to improve the operations of Cook County.

• Worked independently on-­site with vendors across the country to complete and implement complex projects to meet strict deadlines on billable hours.• Created standard operating procedures, best practices, engineering standards, distribution center layouts, in addition to implementing performance tracking software to realize the highest return on all assets.• Worked in various areas and disciplines; clientele included but was not limited to Frito Lay Inc., Medline Industries, Affiliated Foods Midwest, CVS/pharmacy, Jewel, Finish Line, Hanes.
