Leading efforts to simplify data residency compliance for Google Cloud Services.Some of the highlights of my work at Google :- Evangelized Data Residency(DRZ) program within GCP services' teams: Established DRZ heros nominations, reached to people who went above and beyond and their managers to acknowledge the impact. - That outreach led to multiple listen and learn sessions that were became foundation of DRZ by Default.- Led data residency team to win GCP/TI-wide FixIT. - Built the team of 5 to make data residency compliance simplier for GCP services.- Mentor the team members to help them grow- Collect feedback from users and ensure that working on compliance projects is top choice for them- Build POC for simplified onboarding to data residency- Evangelized KPI concept and established ownership of key metrics; Built necessary tooling and dashboard.

I spend days making world better by : - Building and empowering committed and motivated teams, - Developing, architecting, building, and running mission critical systems - Researching and bringing on new technologies: Delivered Proof Of Concept for custom machine learning framework called HawkEyeML, TitanDB, Kafka, Tarantool(in-memory database capable of 1M TPS). Took Kafka messaging framework to production. - Inventing novel solutions: Three s/w patents awarded. - Managing malware analytics system that supports large share of FireEye malware research, zero-day discovery, and media publications.Few exciting and thought inspiring projects I have recently worked on are: - HawkEyeML - a team project to enable everyone in FireEye Labs to run machine learning models. That includes acquiring the data, running variety of models, and comparing the performance of these models. - First place at FireEye Hackathon 2015: Using data models to identify cyber crime dealerships and their tiered pricing offerings. - Developed method to clone PostgreSQL DB using low-level APIs and inotify. - Developed PoC for Kafka message queue to consolidate distribution of real-time events

Responsible for malware analytics platform at FireEye. Manage team and architect solutions to support consistent flow of information between customers and FireEye to support FireEye's Dynamic Threat Intelligence platform. Manage integration with fast growing portfolio of FireEye products and services.Together with the team architected novel approaches to identify patterns in malware landscape; Implemented TitanDB graph; Developed clustering algorithms to identify patterns in attack landscape.Lead development of machine learning technique to identify unobserved threats based on correlated data.Co-authored cyber security alert published by US Dept of Homeland Security (Customs and Border Protection) on threats originated from supply chain partners.The great part of being at FireEye is that company enables and values hands-on experience in developing machine learning technologies. I am thankful for the opportunity to hands-on develop collaborative filtering model using TitanDB/Cassandra graph.

Lead process improvements and systems development for cost reduction for Indirect (IPS) and Direct Materials (DM). Solution manager of global Master Data Management (MDM) system.• DM - global pricing system: The system analyzes available purchase options and enforces the lowest cost one. Implemented the quality control system and related processes to identify and mitigate risks to functionality delivery and quality.• Non production procurement system (NPPS): compliance enforcement and cost reduction opportunities identification.Led SRM, Reporting (BI), Master Data Management, portal systems implementation and process re-engineering brought by the merger of Solectron and Flextronics. Implemented scalable solution capable to benefit from combined purchasing power of both companies. Project manager for $6.6M (70 people) project. Delivered the project full scope 15% under budget. Created framework for track leaders to identify potential risks to scope and quality. Built the team able to take the solution forward.• NPPS program management: Together with global procurement and sites’ materials organizations deployed the new processes at 28 sites across different business units worldwide. Established business SME council to guide the roadmap. Developed the support team capable of managing production-critical system.• ERP self-service reporting: Managed the program to change ERP data access to address scalability and security concerns. Implemented SAP Business Objects reporting off production Baan Oracle databases. Led the team from US, Mexico, Austria, and India from project initiation to transition to support. Brought the solution to 49 sites worldwide.• Change control process: Established and chaired department change control board to minimize risk to production systems.

• Supply Chain Planning (SCP): Managed I2 SCP solution which was key to maintain constant headcount in planning while the backlog grew 5x between 2001 to 2006. Established system for early detection of material constraints.Managed several upgrades, delivered releases to accommodate up and down business cycles. Below are key data driven software solutions that I designed, implemented, and managed:• Potentially replaceable inventory (PRI): Initiated, planned, and managed implementation of real time PRI. Changed the planning practices that were in use for over 10 years. Reduced lead time for over 100 parts from three months to one month, thus saving over $5M in inventory cost.• Available to Promise (ATP): In response to change in business environment, re-engineered the order promising solution. Brought together Customer Service, Strategic Planning, New Product Planning, Offshore Supply Chain/Assembly planning, managed 30+ people team. Delivered the solution within one quarter.• Disaster recovery: Managed disaster recovery initiative for supply chain and planning related systems. Delivered solution to enable the systems to be rebuilt in a new datacenter by new people.• Supplier collaboration program management:• Established supplier’s WIP monitoring system to evaluate risk and alert on future material shortages.• FAB contamination that materially affected availability of wafers in 2006. Responsible for forecasting of materials availability.• Risk mitigation after Taiwan earthquake 9/21/1999 that disrupted supply of wafers: Published material availability to the customers within 24 hours.• Managed Document Control system(Agile/Oracle): Supported QA department with the system development, led implementation of Bill of Materials management module. Managed multiple upgrades from v.6.5 to 9.2 at total consulting cost under 50K.• SAP ERP Implementation – responsible for Material Master track
