Handled FDA enforcement actions against unlicensed medical devices that made medical claims without FDA approval. Extensive federal litigation experience on behalf of various federal agencies including trials, depositions and discovery. Handled numerous food stamp actions seeking to preserve the integrity of the Food Stamp Program and obtained a $71 million civil judgment against food stamp fraudsters. Supervised the office's Financial Recovery Unit and six employees seeking the recovery of funds for crime victims and monies owed the United States owed under criminal restitution orders. Ensured that Department of Justice policies under the Mandatory Victims' Restitution Act of 1996 were enforced. Recipient of DOJ awards.
