During three full and productive years at Artem I Ran a diverse selection of 'media industry' projects. Broadly speaking this includes managing a great team of artists and technicians supplying model making and visual effects for Film, TV and commercials, content for temporary and permanent exhibitions, special projects such as elements of major sporting ceremonies and interesting kinetic or traditional art projects.

Design supervisor. Following my return to this company I took over running all aspects of tendering, detail design and implementation of exhibition projects. Ran the “Snibston Extra Ordinary Gallery” as main contractor; 20 exhibits and interior refurbishment. Followed by many smaller exhibitions most including the new Royal Observatory space galleries; 10 exhibits including electronic interfacing with other contractors. Most recently the refurbished Hancock natural history museum in Newcastle upon Tyne,28 exhibits. Ashmolean museum ,Oxford. Wallace and Gromit Cracking ideas gallery at London Science museum.Within this employ also being involved with day to day film and TV special effects and model making.

As Project Manager I was responsible for two areas in the Thinktank Museum in Birmingham (29 exhibits), Chatham Dockyard (13 exhibits), Falmouth Maritime Museum (11 exhibits), various projects at the Imperial War Museum, Famous Grouse Distillery, Discover at Statford in East London.HarrisBlyth reformed following financial difficulties as hb.Source. I took on a freelance role in the workshop, working on many projects. (Crawlers and Creepers- Kew Gardens, UK pavilion Expo, BMW Westminster showroom roof), I also took over the running of the workshop with the emphasis on maintenance of machinery and health and safety issues. As a regular employee of the company I also carried out maintenance visits throughout the UK on many exhibits previously created by that company.
