About Alex Hunter

I’m a senior Electrical Engineering student at the University of New Brunswick, currently taking time off to gain professional experience in the engineering field. My passion for how electricity powers the world has grown throughout my studies, particularly through courses in power systems and control systems.During my co-op with a geotechnical company, I worked closely with engineers and project managers on construction and oil field sites, gaining hands-on experience in real-world engineering projects. Growing up on a farm, I learned the value of hard work and developed strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills from years of operating and maintaining heavy machinery.I’m excited to apply these experiences to the development of tomorrow’s electrical systems and contribute to the engineering industry in meaningful ways.
