Overseeing the operations of the production, engineering and quality departments in Ace and Rokwell Industries.

Design and Drafting of various air handling systems including cyclones, dust collectors, mist collectors, and other HVAC duct systems.

Manage a crew of 15-17 production employees on a rotating shift basis in meeting unit objectives regarding safety, quality, and productivity. Maintain high volume production of over 100 tons of coated steel per hour. Organize and update each employee with safety/quality contacts and observations. Respond with sound and timely decisions in meeting all unit objectives. Monitor crew performance and operations issues.Also Provided analysis of alloy percentages for the carbon steel cast slabs produced at AK Steel. Developed and implemented a slab identity audit program for the hourly employees to be self sufficient in properly identifying misidentified foreign and domestic cast slabs. Made weekly audits of cast slab surface quality objectives.

Provided project management to various large and small projects. Development of capital projects using Front-End Loading techniques, which included development of Business Objective Letters, Cost Estimates, and Capital Project Authorization request. Analyzed on steam time issues relating to motor and bearing failure using vibration analysis techniques. Trained and screened contractors for the safety excellence required at DuPont. Received process safety management training. Updated and organized process identification diagrams (P&ID) and loop sheets using AutoCAD 2000.
