Business Analyst - It Software, Web Development & Digital
CurrentAn internal restructure now sees my role cover multiple products offered by Flutter UK&I, including Sky Bet Games, PaddyPower and Betfair.Principle Accountabilities:• I need to understand product and commercial needs across different domains and how these are translated into functional and technical requirements• I elicit and validate requirements from a broad range of stakeholders, refining them into user stories for tech teams• I understand and balance commercial needs against technical requirements and capabilities• I challenge requirements that do not fit the owned product's general strategy or conflict with the needs of other stakeholders/other product areas, seeking to resolve and reach mutual outcomes• I identify dependencies between requirements and product areas, while ensuring transparency for all parties• I identify risks and raise concerns in due time where applicable; ensuring mitigation options are clearly articulated• I maintain a refined and prioritised backlog of user stories for projects with multiple dependencies, retaining focus on the agreed scope of the iteration• I work as part of the squad leadership to remove blockers for my squad• I understand the dependencies between technology components and how they combine to deliver solutions to the end consumer and the business• I work closely with Product Managers to ensure initiatives continue to align with the overall product strategy in the area they own • I contribute to operational readiness processes for new releases and provide product training to stakeholders • I ensure that all solutions meet company-wide standards in terms of non-functional performance, security, compliance, social responsibility
