Alex Shoer is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and advisor who has dedicated his career to fighting climate change and accelerating the transition to clean energy. He is the managing partner of GridVest, a battery storage distribution and financing company. Alex has over 12 years of experience in developing and scaling innovative solutions for renewable energy procurement and financing, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, where he lived for nine years and co-founded Seeder Clean Energy, a leading renewable energy services company that helps large corporations reduce their carbon footprint and power their operations with renewable energy.Alex is also a venture partner at Elevation Ventures, where he sources and supports climate tech startups that are tackling the most pressing environmental challenges of our time. He is an advisor at the flywheel energy storage company, Qnetic, and a startup coach for the Small Business Administration, where he leverages his expertise and network to help early-stage founders refine their business models, raise funds, and scale their impact.
