Multi-skilled Leading Marine Engineer with over 7 years of experience in the Royal Navy. Acting as fuels manager onboard Type 45 destroyers ensuring the safe and essential embarkation of vast amounts of diesel and aviation fuel at sea and alongside. Leading a team of engineers to successfully complete tasks and maintain multi-million pound machinery from centrifuges to diesel generators. Fully qualified Marine Engineering Officer of the Watch 2, controlling HV equipment and reacting to breakdowns to ensure operational capability. Lead firefighter in command of fire team during action, ensuring incidents onboard are dealt with promptly to provide power to command. Currently studying towards Level 3 Refrigeration, HVAC, and heat pump maintainer including CAT 1 FGAS and 18th edition. Looking for a new exciting career in the East Sussex area where I can utilise my skills and learn new ones.
