Working under the Vice President of Marketing to manage all digital marketing platforms that Megaplex Theatres was represented on. In addition, I started and maintained our community of dedicated movie fans for the Theatre on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, and multiple review sites. This resulted in a need for morecomprehensive social management tools and led to me being experienced in Klout, Hootsuite, and Tweetdeck.Some accomplishments include:• I broadened our digital horizon and grew one page with only 15k likes to a comprehensive social network of 17 location pages, and a primary page with almost 40k likes. The Location pages provided us with ameans to demographically target each theatre’s individual market and promote events curated to guests at those specific locations.• Developed a marketing strategy that involved identifying and segmenting our community then catering to their specific interests based on what new movies were coming out.• Worked with specific community influencers to enhance and attract guests to a unique movie experience that can only be found at Megaplex Theatres. This included having 501st cosplayers for Star Wars, exclusive art and giveaways for Anime features, and having representation at our Salt Lake ComicConvention, Dinosaur museum, and Anime Convention.
