Between my 2nd and 3rd year of University, I undertook a ‘professional practice year’ at the Lincs FM Group and worked full time hours.Acting as their events team coordinator, I would travel around the county in a branded vehicle to popular events that attracted large crowds. I would ensure our branding was set up to a high and professional standard whilst maintaining the technical equipment that was being used for the public appearances. I became their ‘street team coordinator’ and managed staff prior to and during the booking, some staff much older than myself proving I can work with and manage a wide mix of personalities.During my placement at the group, I contributed to a wide variety of marketing innovations and developments alongside many technical enhancements to digital media, applications and websites for all 8 stations within the Lincs FM Group. Working closely with the Director of Operations and Development, I generated new revenue streams on our websites and mobile applications alongside working closely with promotions, sales and programming to develop and implement innovative ideas to maximise advertiser revenue and listener loyalty.During my time working at the Lincs FM Group, I became competent in the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Dreamweaver, Myriad Playout and Genesys Playout software.I can confidently operate both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems and have basic training in PineApp Secure Mail Management software, Microsoft Exchange Servers as well as extensive knowledge of web coding and design.
