I spent the last three years working with music videos and building relationships with MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, CMT, Fuse, Revolt & Music Choice for video placement & artist bookings. I have also created :15 & :30 pre-roll ads for Columbia artists, lyric videos & behind-the-scenes edits.In late 2015, I taught myself CaptionMaker and have closed captioned over 150 music videos and broadcast specials to date, saving Sony Music Entertainment over $30K. This function was not originally part of my responsibilities, but became an essential aspect of the Video Production department. Part of the advertising team that was in charge of creating a new, national digital campaign for Papa John's Pizza with a $1.5MM budget. The target was 18-24 year olds in the top 50 college markets (U.S.) and the goal was to increase sales and rewards members by 1,000,000 people. As Head of Research and Development, I discovered one very important fact: Within the top 50 college markets (U.S.) there were only 2,000,000 students but, there were almost 16,000,000 18-24 year olds who played video games, whether it be online, console or mobile gaming. We decided to target 18-24 year olds who play video games instead, that way we could hit the top 50 college markets while expanding our reach. The idea was simple: to make Papa John's the pizza of video-games. We decided to focus on one particular game and co-promotion: Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft users would have to complete a quest that would allow them to order Papa John’s Pizza inside the MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). The user would be prompted to fill in their contact information and an icon would be added to the screen so that the player, at any time, could click the icon to order a pizza. Afterwards, a confirmation would be sent to the user to confirm the order and the product would be delivered in 45 minutes or less. When the user would input their contact information they would also become a Papa John’s Rewards member. After becoming a member they would be prompted to invite 5 other friends to become members in order to receive a free pizza; This could be done by inviting other World of Warcraft users while playing the game.
