Managing all R&D projects, resources and activities, beginning at feasibility study or preliminary ideas, through definition of requirements and specifications, prototypes development and towards the transition to mass production of advanced multidisciplinary products / systems for Telecom applications.Managing the programs timeline, tasks, resources and budget to accomplish the program goals and sub-project's deliverables. Technical POC and a primary team's interface working with internal R&D groups (HW, SW, Optics, Mechanics), marketing & sales teams and customers, tailoring technical solutions for customers' networks requirements.

Managing development projects of advanced electro-optical amplification products and systems, including products' requirements description, full functional specifications and test requirements definitions. Managing a team of HW and SW engineers, product / system and validations engineers, responsible of product / system engineering and NPI activities, including development, V&V and test of prototypes. Technical POC for customers and sales managers worldwide, tailoring customized network solutions and features of amplification products per customers' needs.

Managing the prototypes development projects and customization activities of EDFA products for Telecom applications, including functional characterization, product's requirements definitions, and full responsibility for technical specifications definition for a large variety of new products / systems.Managing a team of HW / SW developers, validation and lab engineers, responsible for all prototypes development activities.

Electro-Optical engineer in the Prototype Development Department. Responsible of optical / physical performance characterization and a functional characterization and features of new Optical Fiber Amplifiers products, optical systems and sub-systems. Testing and approval of new optical and electro-optical components; Development of ATP procedures and test setups and leading prototypes development projects.
