Alex originally learned how to code to avoid having to learn algebra in middle school. In college, he began developing iOS and web applications before interning at Google and Nest Labs. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles for a job at Amazon Studios, where he helped to build a suite of tools to help create and market digital media. He moved on to Riot Games where he joined the internal Developer Experience team to build a hybrid-cloud deployment system to deploy Riot's games at scale around the world.
