Starting my career as an electrical engineering co-op I quickly realized my passion was for technology. As a consultant we realized the building construction market was missing a technology consultant to help our clients bring all of their new or existing’s building technology together. Working with clients such as QuadReal and BentallGreenOak and their projects The Post and B6 respectively we assisted with developing their strategy for prop tech at these flagship projects in Vancouver, BC.From there I moved to the contractor side working as Project and Design Manager for the Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment project Phase 2. We successfully implemented a 72 network cabinet addition to FHA’s flagship datacenter with over 3,000 strands of OM5 fiber and over 800 Cat6A drops between the cabinets and cores. We also designed and installed custom access control harnesses to facilitate a per cabinet door lock that allowed easy door removal. For the new Acute Care Tower I led the design assist team in reviewing and designing the access control, video surveillance, panic duress, patient wandering, audio visual, parking count, and intrusion systems. Now I will be pursuing my further refined passion for technology which aligns with my personal excitement for tech. Lights, Audio and Video.
