History Department - Responsible for providing classroom instruction, procuringassignments for students, preparing course materials, administering examinations, assessing student performance, tutoring students, and determining course grades. Additionally, setting up office hours for students to come in and obtain counseling in relation to history and campus life.

On-site work for a historical agency such as an archive or museum, or providing historical research for a business or public agency. For this internship, I assisted a professor in and learned upper-level division pedagogy in History 337 (History of the United States Presidency).

My main tasks were to assist graduate students in their digital history projects, clean, maintain, and inspect equipment in the digital history lab on campus. Additionally, I made available time to help the history department and graduate students with all things relative to digital history.

-Ensure the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all assigned aircrew flight equipment (AFE) and survival gear, adhering to strict Air Force and industry standards.-Conduct meticulous inspections of flight helmets, oxygen masks, parachutes, and survival kits to guarantee the safety and readiness of aircrew members.-Collaborate with pilots and aircrew to provide tailored equipment briefings, ensuring comprehensive understanding and correct usage of AFE.-Manage and maintain a detailed inventory of all flight equipment and gear, implementing an efficient system for tracking and issuing items.-Respond swiftly to any equipment malfunctions or emergencies, applying technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.-Lead training sessions for aircrew and other AFE technicians, sharing knowledge on equipment use, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.-Participate in the development and update of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AFE maintenance and handling.-Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to perform regular tests and evaluations, ensuring all gear meets performance standards.-Document and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status, ensuring full accountability and traceability.-Apply expert knowledge of survival tactics and procedures to advise and train aircrew on emergency egress and survival techniques.-Foster strong communication and coordination with other maintenance teams and departments, ensuring seamless integration of AFE support.-Uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in all work practices, contributing to the overall mission readiness of the unit.-Implement risk management principles in all AFE operations, proactively identifying and mitigating potential hazards.-Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in AFE technology and maintenance practices.

I have been a martial artist since the age of four. I received my black belt at the age of ten, my 2nd dan at the age of sixteen, 3rd dan at the age of twenty-two, and 4th dan at the age of thirty. I have been teaching martial arts classes since I could physically drive myself to classes. I teach my students not only how to defend themselves but how to be outstanding citizens and to always protect those who can't protect themselves. Martial arts is a means by which one can improve their lives and the goal is to inspire students to understand this.
