Data analysis and CMD-3 detector maintenance at the VEPP-2000 collider
Research Assistant
During my time at BINP, I was working with data analysis of electron-positron collisions and detector calibration and maintenance.I was looking for a rare conversion process that involved several particles at the final state. Using simulations, I discovered the characteristic criteria and later applied them to the experimental data that resulted in the upper limit of the propability for the process under investigation. In the meantime, we were working on the maintenance of the endcap calorimeter of the CMD-3 detector at VEPP-2000 collider. I worked on the estimation of the luminescence hardness of BGO crystals against irradiation, participated in the detector assembly, and later developed the trigger electronic calibration scheme for the calorimeter.
