I am an experienced geologist, mineralogist and minerals engineer with a multi-disciplinaryeducational and employment background. I have gained experienced in operations-based mine geology and exploration drilling programs, the use of advanced analytical instruments in the mineralogical characterisation of mineral grains, ores and geomaterials, supported the development and assessment of innovative ore characterization and mineral processing technologies, and conducted mineral processing optimisation studies. Previous roles within the Australian mining industry have given me relevant applicable experience, and allowed me to develop my technical and professional abilities through both formal training, and practical on-the-job learning in field and mine-site environments, and in research laboratories. I have completed a mining industry-sponsored PhD in the UK in the development and assessment of an innovative microwave comminution technology for reducing energy consumption and improving the efficiency of mineral processing operations. I am focused on advancing my career in the global mining and mineral processing industry in the fields of geology, mineralogy, geometallurgy, and the development, advancement and promotion of new geoscience and mineral processing technologies and innovations.
