Hello! My name is Alex and I am currently pursuing a Master's of International Affairs with a concentration in International Economics at UCSD School of Global Policy and Strategy! My academic passions range from business analytics, marketing, to economic research. I recently graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's in International Studies - International Business. During my time at UCSD I was deeply involved in community life and held leadership positions in three separate organizations. I culminated my undergraduate experience by publishing a research paper on the impact of centralized language planning on the current Russia-Ukraine conflict. This summer I am interning as a program manager at the Global Leadership Institute, a professional advanced studies program that is part of the school of Global Policy and Strategy at UCSD. Additionally, I am continuing my senior role as a Facility Supervisor at UCSD rec. Finally, I am actively looking for consulting and business analytic internships for summer of 2025 after I graduate from my Master's program. My passions outside of school include my volunteer work and leadership role for a national non-profit called Camp Kesem. At Kesem we provide a free summer camp to kids affected by a parent's cancer! Our goal is to make a lasting impact and build a support network for children in the San Diego area. As the volunteer coordinator, I am responsible for member recruitment, engagement, and data management.
