Elected to a Public Library Trustee seat on the RAILS Board for a three-year term beginning July, 2020. Re-elected July 2023 - 2026.Vice President, July 2021 - July 2022.President, July 2022 - July 2024.The RAILS Board of Directors is composed of 15 individuals, elected by the RAILS membership, who work as a team on issues affecting the long-term future of the Reaching Across Illinois Library System (RAILS) and its approximately 1,300 member libraries. All board members represent the overall interests and needs of RAILS member libraries as a whole across a 27,000 square mile area, rather than individual libraries, institutions, or specific communities/regions.

Elected to the New Lenox Public Library District Board of Trustees for a six-year term beginning June, 2019. Elected Vice President for the 2021-2023 term, President 2023-2025.

As the Library's only IT professional, my responsibilities included supporting staff and patrons with technology issues, making purchasing decisions, installing and maintaining computer workstations, servers, networking and telecommunications equipment, and software. I have experience working with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux-based operating systems.

From 2002 to 2013, I held various positions at the Manhattan-Elwood Public Library including Youth Services Page, Circulation Clerk, ILL coordinator, and IT Manager. During the last four years of my tenure, as IT Manager, my primary responsibilities were related to technology planning, management, and support.
