About Alex Van Der Zouw
Being active in prototyping for more then 30 years I gained a lot of experience in a variety of techniques and how to combine them. When the market was very young in 1998 I jumped into the market development of Rapid Prototyping (3D printing) by putting 2 RP machines in my workshop. I personally operated the machines for many years and learned the ins and outs. At the same time I kept a close look at the developments in the market and machines. I now have a broad knowledge of 3D Printing & Manufacturing.Since 2003 also active in 3D Scanning and Reverse Engineering, a very good combination with 3D Printing.The latest addition is 3D metal printing. Two machines are up and running.Next to that I'm running my own business for more then 30 years. During that time I learned a lot about that aspect too.Specialism: Bringing techniques together to get the right product.Protoyping, 3D CAD/CAM, 3D Printing, Rapid Manufacturing, 3D Scanning, Reverse Engineering

Founder/Owner
CurrentAfter a couple of years at different companies it was time to start my own business. Not interested in big series production I focused on prototyping and small series. Two years after the start I introduced 3D CAD/CAM into the company in a time where only a few company's where using it. Who can live without it now? In 1998 it was time to jump into 3D printing which gave the company a huge boost. The next step was 3D Scanning in 2003. In 2009 we got hit by the financial crisis. The 3D printing was separated into a new company in 2010 to give it another boost. Unfortunately cooperation with the new partner didn't work out and we had to shift back to the basics in 2011, small but agile. 2014 was a kind of turning point and growth was initiated. The first addition was 3D printing in metal. Next was a CNC lathe followed by 5-axis milling.
