I managed all the visual communications for this Trust including: branding, design for print and social media collateral.I carried out this role alongside a Reprographics Management role as well as running my own part time freelance design service.About me;I have a first class degree in Design for Communication (Graphic Communication with Electronic Media) and 20 years’ experience in the workplace including 14 years of management experience including a mid-level position. I am a creative problem solver and have implemented several process improvements that have saved the Trust time and money. I am an active member of the NEU (National Education Union) that was borne out of the merger between ATL and NUT, and have been twice to Annual Conference in Liverpool.I am also a part time musician. This has involved working in teams; event planning; customer liaison; marketing; financial planning; public relations; writing press releases and planning proactive and reactive social media campaigns. I have wide experience across a wide range of sectors and am passionate about brand and am an energetic team member with a positive can-do attitude.• My work at the school came to the attention of the Regional Training Agency who invited me to write and deliver a course called the “Effective Schools Reprographics Department” which I have delivered to delegates in Birmingham, London and Leeds.• I am a co-founder of the Reprographics Forum in Wolverhampton which meets every term to discuss process improvements and share knowledge and training in various software packages.• I have written and delivered training courses in Quark Xpress, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
