Facilitated and hosted quarterly roadmapping sessions that involved all engineering teams, was open to the whole company, and involved multiple days of planning and presentations. Draft plans were reviewed and iterated on similar to SAFe recommendations. Plans were then reviewed twice each week until the next planning event.Scrum master for the largest engineering team at MH with 10-12 engineers working across all three client platforms. Identifying obstacles, chasing down options, using data to drive transparency, and the daily routines expected for ceremonies/events (plus followup).

Built out the product team approach and practices alongside the Head of Product. Served as ad-hoc scrum master for the single engineering teams (20+) and transitioned into multiple teams. Introduced many best practices for triage, focus, and diagnosis of bugs in released versions. Set down standards for documentation with new releases, including: change logs, new features, known issues, fixed bugs, and improvements; regular review of the documentation with stakeholders and client representatives; shared data with Jira and other tools. Began and drove large-scale, organizational shift to Agile practices, ceremonies, and approach/mindset.

Managed the day-to-day and sprint-to-sprint plan for the team developing MeYou Health’s flagship product, Daily Challenge. Led the team through forming goals, reviewing designs, finalizing commitments, shipping features, and retrospecting on recent work. Crafted a roadmap for upcoming work, milestones, and experiments across email, web, iOS, and Android platforms. Collaborated with many functions including content, research, game design, and more. Guided client teams through initial workshops, highlighted the major conclusions from collected feedback, and built consensus around an action plan for new work. Collaborated heavily with senior designers during brainstorming, internal refining, and managing client feedback while creating interfaces for innovative products. Engaged researchers, curriculum designers, active teachers, and students to give feedback on piloted features via live demos, mockups, paper prototypes, and annotated screenshots. Provided ongoing support to developers via feature testing, triage support for incoming bugs, advocating for and representing the development team in company-wide meetings, and responding to principal investigators’ (project owners/creators) questions about development. Coached principal investigators regarding Agile practices. Maintained and advocated for internal practices around transparency, consistency, and communication across the company.
