With hands-on leadership, I set high standards, inspiring cross-functional teams.Key Successes:• Spearheaded the standing up of professional services capabilities for a small financial services organization as they transitioned into a major NetSuite ERP solution provider ensuring proper delivery and implementation.• Sourced by one of the largest commodity trading companies in the world to lead the North American trading and execution platform modernization as a critical part of a large, multi-year global SAP implementation program. • Contracted with a $1B asset management company and financial planning firm to identify best cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution to replace antiquated on premise legacy system for HR and Finance.• Supported the $19B Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and one of the largest freight railroad networks in North America with a large-scale platform transformation from antiquated legacy systems leveraging BNSF branded version of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).• Engaged to bolster the project management office (PMO) and facilitate the processes involved in transitioning large books of life and annuity policies over to a proprietary platform for lifecycle management. • Conducted deep analysis on requirements to develop and buildout of an electronic change of custody solution for drugs of abuse testing at one of the country’s largest privately held testing laboratories.• Led the development of a new customer support knowledge base system for one of the country's larger employee benefits and elective insurance companies, collaborating with offshore resources while providing guidance in system decomposition, requirement gathering, and test planning.

Directed the project management function within Seaboard Foods. This included responsibilities such as setting initial project management standards, defining methodologies, providing guidance and support to project managers, ensuring projects were executed effectively and efficiently, managing project portfolios, and aligning project activities with organizational goals and objectives. Additionally, I was involved in budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication related to project management initiatives within Seaboard Foods.• Initiated by executive leadership to establish and lead the inaugural structured PMO, strategically aligning it with other operational areas within a $4.8B, 98-year-old legacy agricultural business.• Led and executed the first phase of an ERP implementation, while achieving on-time and on-budget results with minimal project management infrastructure.• Established and expanded the PMO from its inception, growing the team to 8 members (5 project managers & 3 business analysts); aligned project effort with financial oversight and the introduction of a structured Gate process to enhance delivery efficiency.

Engaged C-suite sponsorship through highly visible projects amidst rapid transitions to meet the needs of the business post the enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) in 2010. Established the process analysis team between BCBS Kansas City and BCBS North Carolina to create scalable methods, thorough process analysis, and to define relevant KPIs for a proposed joint venture that impacted 4M+ customers. • Selected by the Vice President following a successful Project Management consulting engagement to join a select team of strategic portfolio managers.• Strengthened strategic alignment and productivity within the PMO, applying Six Sigma Black Belt principles to optimize processes and ensure the successful completion of projects during a critical period.• Innovated a first-of-its-kind direct payment process that introduced immediate insurance approvals/denials, circumventing the 3-day waiting period; reduced application withdrawals by 5%, significantly improving the customer experience and boosting segment revenue by 8%.
