Within Google Compute Engine, my team owns management and reductions of resource overheads across the virtualization stack, including the compute node and our Titanium IPU. I lead a cross-organizational program to staff investments in resource monitoring, regression prevention, and long-term strategic reduction efforts. I help influence product and SKU definitions to ensure that our offerings are fantastic for customers while remaining highly efficient for Google to operate.

Worked on the macOS Performance team. I designed and implemented an internal tool to statistically aggregate application usage patterns for use within and outside the macOS Performance team. Over the course of the summer, I collaborated with other engineering teams to architect an efficient and extensible solution, presenting my project to the Vice President of Software Engineering Programs and her team. I was later selected from my group to present to Craig Federighi, the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering, and his team. Before leaving, I conducted meetings with several interested teams about how my project may be useful to them going forward.

Worked on the Ecommerce Feature Development team to design new internet-connected experiences for Nordstrom full-line stores. Working on a team of three, we iteratively prototyped a software/hardware solution using Node.js, React, Windows Store App Platform, and near-field communication technology. Presented the project to the Ecommerce team and senior technology leadership ahead of schedule. Upon the strength of the demonstration, I concluded the summer working with the Modern Marketplace team to assist with the redesign of Nordstrom.com in Node.js and React.
