Following my promotion to a Senior Service Administrator, I was responsible for overseeing and coaching Administrators to process accurate and on-time payrolls. I dealt with escalations, liaising with internal and external parties to obtain positive outcomes. I was responsible for a variety of different payrolls, completing all the quality checks on the input processed by the Administrators. I arranged the team’s workload, chairing weekly meetings to discuss the following week’s schedule in order to ensure all payrolls had enough resource allocated to ensure all deadlines are met.

In this role, I was responsible for processing and running multiple customer payrolls, making sure I always produced on-time and accurate payments and HMRC submissions. I also ran payroll reports and fully reconciled all information before processing BACS payments, and sometimes also sent CHAPS payments when last minute changes were necessary. Providing email and telephone support to my customers, this position taught me impeccable customer service and enabled me to build great working relationships with my clients. I participated in regular feedback calls to customers to ensure they were happy with the service I had provided and the results of the period’s payroll.
