-Lead engineer, tool owner and manager of various equipment areas in the KNI cleanroom facility including: All Thin Film Deposition (Magnetron Sputtering, E-Beam Evaporation), Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), 2-Photon Lithography (Microscale 3D printing), Chemical Vapor Etch systems (XeF2), Spectroscopic Ellipsometry, thermal processing equipment, other back-end processing tools. -Proficient with equipment across all cleanroom areas including:Electron Beam Lithography, Scanning Electron Microscopy/Focused Ion-Beam (SEM/FIB), Helium Ion Microscopy (HIM), Photolithography including mask design and fabrication, Plasma Enhanced Vapor Deposition (PECVD), Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), Reactive Ion-Etching (RIE), wet chemical processing (wet etch, lift-offs, pattern development). -Prioritizes, organizes, and plans effective teaching strategies for students, post docs, and industry personnel in device fabrication methods and standard operating procedures for nanofabrication equipment. -Maintains, develops, and implements processing standards in support of university, and industrial research and development goals. -Assesses, troubleshoots, repairs, and upgrades facility equipment and best practices. -Oversees logistical aspects of cleanroom equipment in terms of community collaboration and shared lab space protocols and etiquettes. -Consults on fabrication process material requirements, qualifies and certifies material and equipment compatibilities, and procures and maintains material availability on a case by case basis for individual research needs. -Creates, maintains, and optimizes tool documentation, instrument records, and consumables tracking records. -Participates in visiting student research as a mentor in nanofabrication and materials engineering related projects. -Integral in the construction of new coursework in nanofabrication and cleanroom operations. -Facilitates collaborative research efforts between university groups and institute staff.

Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) and materials processing specialist; designs, develops, tests and implements UHV equipment and materials processing methods. Offers support and multi-disciplined engineering solutions towards developing advanced X-Ray radiation sources.

Headed the optimization of novel iron pyrite thin-film synthesis. Key developer of a specialized molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) chamber which allowed for quality systematic studies related to pyrite crystal growth mechanisms. M.S. Thesis received for work related to this project. Performed various supporting solid state materials characterization work for other projects within the group.
