Lantmännen Unibake is one of Europe's largest bakery groups with 30+ bakeries in multiple countries. We market our leading bake-off and fresh bakery products for retail and food service in 60+ markets around the world.Part of the Lantmännen Unibake Global Graduate program, which is a 2-year program to learn about the industry which includes a placement year abroad in one of the sister companies. Despite the program having a focus on the Supply Chain department, I had the opportunity to work in operations controlling for 6 months prior to the official start date of the graduate programme in September 2024.Worked in the finance department at Finland & Baltics level, with tasks relating to operations controlling, including forecasting, budgeting and participating in monthly closing & reporting activities. Additionally, the role has a focus on PowerBI development for internal reporting, which includes the use of tools such as SQL and Azure Synapse Analytics to transform data and present actionable business insights for management reporting. As the role includes working with large amounts of data, excellent data-analysis and understanding of the ETL process are key to succeeding in this role.
