Alex Whelan is student studying Computing at Institute of Technology Tallaght, eager to graduate in 2020. Hoping when he graduates his computing degree to become a software developer or web developer full-time. Alex always had a passion for computers which is why he choose a career in a computer like profession, learning new skills such as java, html, css (cascade style sheet), javascript, networking, cloud computing and many more skills throughout his degree.Always in love with graphic design and art he decided to self teach himself how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, continuing to learn new skills in his spare time, graphic design has now become a hobby for Alex. In the future he wishes to combine his computing and graphic design skills to create and design websites and phone applications.Since October 2016 to present, Alex has worked part-time at Tesco as a Customer Assistant working with customers and solving any problems that they have. Daily as a team Alex and other employees work together to ensure all work needed done is finished. Working at Tesco showed Alex how a business can be ran sufficiently on a daily basic.
