Developed infrastructure monitoring software for large scale database and client data systems, including monitoring of low and high-level performance, efficiency, vitality, and network health over dozens of distributed application servers and hundreds of bespoke software components across core platform services and client systems upstream and downstream, across 5 development environments and their redundant counterparts, and managed an effort to standardize metrics data reporting.I built, improved, and maintained these systems which included clustered Elasticsearch data repositories, ingestion services for load balancing and data quality governance, client plugins and libraries to permit wide and robust distribution of metrics monitoring capabilities, one-off applications for monitoring and communicating metrics for non-standard components, a web-based monitoring page providing real-time data on hundreds of applications and system components with their associated visualization and analytic tools.In addition, I used the statistical R programming language, a Scala backend, and javascript front-end modifications, to develop a graphing and visualization web service for automated reporting and ad-hoc inspection of monitoring performance, health, and error conditions across the reference data space.More recently, my work has been with downstream clients in the operations space in global markets technology to ingest, manage, and control account data and standardized settlement and delivery instructions with the aim of achieving a golden, trusted data source for these documents and records, which are key to facilitating market activing across the planet.

Developed a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) for data entry, analysis, quality assurance, and reporting of tens of thousands of samples and analytic reports.Developed a robust, concurrent, web-based document production and project management software suite utility to support a multi-million dollar contract with the city of New York for testing for and reporting potential environmental hazards in public housing.

Developed distributed interactive system for mouse behavioral studies, which features a central server written in Java and C which coordinates physical hardware with multiple Android tablets running customized touchscreen software and a CouchDB distributed NoSQL database.
