Labroots is an industry leader in the virtual-events space, with a focus on the medical and science sectors. As a designer at Labroots, I was regularly challenged with bringing client visions to life. Whether it be a trade show, medical conference, or an academic webinar, my broad experience across various fields of design led to successful events world-wide.In early 2021, I was tasked with creating an all-new innovative approach for client kick-off meetings, and how they may navigate the initial steps of creating a virtual event. As a visual designer at ORSNN, I assisted with distilling a complex loan-trading initiative into an intuitive, clean platform. Projects included branding & identity, website & logo creation, high level platform wire-framing, as well as general creative direction.

Cordoba Music Group is the parent company to the iconic Guild and Cordoba musical instrument brands. During my time at CMG, I regularly took products from ideation through manufacturing and international launch. With this process came monitoring lifecycles of product lines, and editing as necessary. In addition, was responsible for developing long range growth / competitive strategies to enhance sales and brand presence.

During my time as the designer and project manager for Seattle Stained Glass, my main duty was to lead daily design consultations with various home and business owners, to distill their unique vision and expectations regarding a custom stained glass project. This included guidance through the fabrication, installation, and payment processes of each panel. In addition, I opened up market potential via designing and launching a company website. This steadily increased sales, presence, as well as productivity & worker morale.

Inside the Art building on Wayne State University's campus are amazing metal, ceramic, and wood studios, which I monitored during my final two years of undergrad. My main duty was to provide instruction in proper craftsmanship methods, which included instruction on use of the laser cutter, 3D printer, and wood / metal machinery for prototyping. In addition, was responsible for providing a 'quality standard' for prototypes in the industrial design program.

During my summer internship at Evolve Group, I was tasked with conceptualizing point-of-purchase displays for mass production. Clients included Easton, CCM, Reebok, CAT, among other sporting goods brands. I utilized various 3D rendering softwares, the Adobe creative suite, and hand sketching on a daily basis.

Shanghai, China

During my time at Shanghai University, I led a group of design students through an introduction into industrial design. The curriculum touched on sketching, ideation methods, as well as rendering techniques. On top of daily coursework, I spent much of my time exploring Shanghai and taking in all of its wonderful, unique design elements.
